The Concern Assembly members for Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality are calling the President Akuffo-Addo to retain their Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Hon. Michael Amoah Awuku.
In a press conference addressed by the Assembly member of Abuakwa Dadiase electoral area Hon. Papa Clinton stated that, MCE has proven beyond doubt he places the development and welfare of residents ahead of his own interests
Since he assumed office, he has not failed once in carrying out his duties and deserves another tenure to complete the initiatives he started. “We are calling on President Akuffo-Addo to maintain him, in order for him to continue the good work he has started in the Municipality” Clinton said.
On health, the MCE constructed CHIPS compound in selected communities within the Municipality.
Through Micheal Amoah Awuku leadership, he has provided hospital beds and other hospital ancillary items to selected health centres.
On sanitation, MCE together with the Assembly has constructed many Community toilets and institutional toilet, areas like Nkawie Zongo, Siedi, Toase, Toase Senior High School and other places.
On rural electrication, the MCE facilitated the connection of 10 communities to the national grid and supplied about 500 pieces of streetlight across the Municipality.
The MCE through it wise has construct Police station at Sepaase to boost security in the locality.
On roads, MCE together with MP, Emmanuel Agyei Anhwere has construct Toase to Gyankobaa roads and some part of Toase town roads, Wiawso Junction to Amanhyia is ongoing. Other areas was duly executed to improve the road network in the Municipality.
Another of his key achievements is One district One factory, Gyankobaa Ginger Processing factory and other two factories in the Municipality.
On Education, Atwima Nwabiagya South led by the MCE, Amoah Awuku has constructed 26 different infrastructural projects for basic and Senior High Schools across the Municipality. He has also expanded the school feeding program.
The Assembly also procured and supplied Mono and Dual desk to Basic schools across the Municipality and provided financial support to students in the Municipality.
According to the Concern Assembly members, almost all communities in the Municipality were connected to the National grid without a hitch due to MCE’s effective implementation.
The Akuffo-Addo government has given the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality unprecedented developmental projects over the past last four years.
“Amoah Awuku is the best MCE we have ever had since the creation of the Municipality” the elected excited Assembly members remarked.
The Assembly Members said they are happy and thanked President Nana Addo Danqwah Akuffo-Addo and NPP for bringing Hon. Michael Amoah. “He respects us, he is our Friend and he always pay attention to our needs and concerns” Assembly Members added.
Meanwhile, some elements within the Municipality are peddling lies against the MCE in the media.
“We concern Assembly Members for Atwima Nwabiagya South will continue to support a man who climbs a good tree holds that competent people should be spurred on to continue to deliver on their tasks and duties.
Amoah Awuku deserves another tenure as he performed remarkable well during the last election for the Party. His contribution to the 2020 General Election helped Emmanuel Agyei Anhwere maintained Parliamentary seat despite was a strong independent candidate.
