Clean-Up Crew Gets Breakfast Boost from Housemistress

Ms. Rita Nti Acheampong, a Senior Housemistress at Prince of Peace Senior High School in Kumasi, has voluntarily provided breakfast for students who participated in the National Sanitation Day exercise.

A total of 22 students from the Feminine Educational Centre located at South Suntreso were adequately served, motivating them to tidy up the area from Bekwai Roundabout to Sofoline Interchange on Saturday, February 7.

The Senior Housemistress’ exemplary leadership and environmental consciousness motivated young ladies clad in their SRC white T-shirts with blue tracksuits to go the extra mile.

Passersby and residents along one of the busy routes in the city were enthused by the students’ effort to tidy the environment, urging them to keep it up.

They also urged other schools, institutions, and organisations to join the National Sanitation Day exercise to keep the environment clean.
