The Chief of Asotwe in the Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti Region, Nana Gyenin Akenten ll has appealed to government, philanthropists, and natives of the town both home and in diaspora to render some financial assistance towards the completion of an going construction of a palace and police station in the community.
The police station if completed will help address insecurity in the community.
The traditional ruler. made this appeal during the recent celebration of Awukudae with his people at Asotwe
Nana Akenten II noted that the projects were at a stage where everybody’s knowledge, strength and material resources would be needed to get the police them completed.
Asotwehene was optimistic that the police station will help to curb crime, drug addiction and other social vices when completed, but disclosed that due to financial constraints it has not been completed.
According to Nana Gyenin Akenten ll, for a nation to thrive, its human and natural resources needed to be tapped for the development of that nation.
He urged the indegenes to come together as one people with common destiny to develop the town.
It’s three moths now Nana Gyenin Akenten ll, who was sworn in as the chief of Asotwe three months ago, has promised to complete every developmental projects started by his predicessor Nana Oteng Sarfo Kantanka who resigned as a chief of the area due to personal reasons.
