C/R:CHAINSAW OPERATOR,50, KILLED BY FALLING TREE AT ABODWESESO

A 50-year-old Chainsaw Operator, Kweku Essuman,has met his untimely death when he was crushed by a tree he was cutting.

The incident happened at Tuesday, March 14 2023 in the evening around 4:30 PM.

The deceased who hails from Assin Abodweseso in the Assin South District of the Central Region was hired by Kofi Shaibu a Farmer into his farm to fell some trees as most farmers do when preparing their land for cultivation and unfortunately the incident happened.

“It is true that our brother has died as a result tree he was cutting fell on him and killed him instantly; he died when the branch of the tree fell on him,” an eyewitness Kofi Shaibu narrated to Kasapa News Yaw Boagyan in an interview.

The eyewitness who is the owner of the farm said,as the deceased was cutting the tres he was the tree falling and he shouted in such away that a Deceased will runaway but unfortunately he didn’t heard it and the tree fell and killed him.

He said,this is not the first time such incidents has happened.

Some has happened before but not to an extent that it will kill someone.

According to him he is shock such incidents has happened.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at Assin Fosu St. Francis hospital mortuary for preservation and autopsy.

Meanwhile,the case has been also reported to the Assin Nyankomase Police Station for an investigation.

He left behind four Children and a Wife.
