Buoho Bomso’s Lord Worship Temple Marks 13 Years of Ministry with a Joyous Thanksgiving Celebration

The Lord Worship Temple at Buoho Bomso came alive on Sunday as the church commemorated its 13th anniversary with a heartfelt thanksgiving service filled with worship, testimonies, and spiritual renewal. The celebration, which brought together hundreds of worshippers and invited guests, was held under the theme: “Have Faith in God”, taken from Mark 11:22–24.
The anniversary was not only a celebration of the church’s spiritual journey but also a moment of deep reflection on how far God has brought the ministry since its inception. The packed auditorium radiated with joy and reverence as voices lifted in praise echoed throughout the premises.
Delivering the keynote message, the Founder and General Overseer, Right Reverend Samuel Fosu, urged believers to never lose hope in the face of life’s challenges. He recounted the early days of the ministry and emphasized that unwavering faith had been the foundation of their success. “We did not begin with much, but we had the word of God and a vision. For thirteen years, this church has survived by faith, prayer, and obedience to God. Let us continue to trust Him in all things,” he preached passionately.
Rev. Fosu called on all Christians, especially those in positions of leadership, to allow faith—not fear or politics—to guide their decisions. He also appealed to the broader Ghanaian society to return to God with sincerity, adding that divine direction is the solution to the nation’s struggles.
Rev. Mrs. Helena Fosu Appiah, the wife of the General Overseer, praised the steadfastness of the church members and encouraged them to remain united in love and purpose. She reminded them that God’s grace had been the driving force behind the ministry’s progress.
Rev. Mrs. Appiah also made an emotional plea to married men, urging them to stop suppressing their wives’ spiritual callings. According to her, many women are hindered from working for God due to restrictions imposed by their own husbands.
“It is painful to see God call someone, only for their spouse to silence them. If your wife carries a spiritual gift, support her to use it for the kingdom. Don’t block God’s work,” she implored.
The occasion was also graced by respected ministers including Rev. Nana Yaw Twum Barima and Apostle Dr. Mrs. Cynthia Twum Barima, who commended the church’s growth and dedication. They encouraged the congregation to press on with boldness and deepen their spiritual walk.
The celebration featured electrifying gospel music, passionate prayer sessions, and stirring testimonies of miracles and personal breakthroughs. The joyous mood was further lifted as members danced and praised God for His faithfulness over the years.
As the service drew to a close, it was evident that the event had left a lasting spiritual impact on the congregation. Members departed filled with hope, renewed faith, and a clear sense of purpose.
The 13th anniversary of Lord Worship Temple was more than a milestone—it was a moment of divine encounter, recommitment, and a public declaration that indeed, with God, all things are possible.
