Bosome Freho MP Supports 245 BECE Candidates with Trunks, Chop Boxes and Books at Nsueam No. 2

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bosome Freho Constituency, Hon. Nana Asafo-Adjei Ayeh, has reaffirmed his commitment to education by donating 245 trunks, chop boxes, 10 exercise books and 5 note books each to Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates at Nsueam No. 2.
The presentation ceremony, which attracted parents, teachers, traditional leaders and opinion leaders, formed part of the MP’s broader educational support initiative to ease the burden on families as students prepare to enter senior high schools.

In his address, Hon. Nana Asafo-Adjei Ayeh explained that the gesture was in line with a pledge he made to his constituents when he sought their mandate. He emphasized that education remains the surest path to social and economic transformation and must be supported at all levels.

“When I asked for the opportunity to serve as MP, I promised to make education a priority for Bosome Freho. Today’s donation is part of fulfilling that promise. I want every child in this constituency to have the opportunity to rise through education. It is the greatest legacy we can give them because no one can ever take it away,” he said.

The MP further encouraged the students to remain focused and disciplined in their studies, noting that their success will not only bring pride to their families but also to the entire constituency. He expressed optimism that in the coming years, Bosome Freho would produce more professionals such as doctors, engineers, lawyers, teachers, nurses and other experts who would contribute meaningfully to national development.

“Farming and mining are important, but my dream is to see our youth excel beyond these fields and occupy spaces where they can transform our constituency and Ghana. I believe the young people here can rise high and make Bosome Freho proud,” Hon. Asafo-Adjei Ayeh added.

Parents and guardians who benefited from the support expressed profound gratitude to the MP, noting that the high cost of educational items has been a major source of worry. They described the gesture as timely and a huge relief.

“This is a great help to us. Many of us were worried about how to provide these items for our children, but today our MP has made it possible. We are thankful for his thoughtfulness and pray for more blessings upon him,” one parent said.

Community leaders and teachers at Nsueam No. 2 also commended the MP for his foresight and investment in education, stressing that such interventions encourage students to take their studies seriously and give them hope for the future.

The donation at Nsueam No. 2 adds to Hon. Nana Asafo-Adjei Ayeh’s ongoing efforts to position education at the heart of development in Bosome Freho, reinforcing his vision of raising future leaders who will carry the constituency forward.
