Bosome Freho District Assembly Commissions Three Key Infrastructure Projects to Boost Social Services

The Bosome Freho District Assembly has taken a significant step toward improving public service delivery and community development with the commissioning of three major infrastructure projects at Adeito and Asiwa. The District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Charles Appiah-Kubi, led the commissioning ceremonies on Wednesday, November 27, 2025, reaffirming the Assembly’s dedication to expanding essential facilities across the district.
The projects include a newly constructed four-unit single-room residential accommodation for teachers at Adeito, an office complex for the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), and a fully equipped Department of Agriculture office, both situated at Asiwa. All three projects were officially handed over to their respective beneficiary institutions, marking another milestone in the Assembly’s continuous efforts to strengthen education, healthcare, and agricultural services.
Addressing a durbar of chiefs, community members, education officials, farmers, and public servants, Hon. Appiah-Kubi emphasized the importance of routine maintenance to ensure the longevity and effectiveness of the newly completed facilities. He noted that government’s investment in infrastructure must be complemented by a strong culture of care and responsibility from the beneficiaries and the wider community.

The DCE further highlighted the Assembly’s unwavering commitment to improving infrastructure across the district. He called on traditional leaders, opinion leaders, and residents to collaborate with the Assembly to safeguard and support development initiatives, stressing that collective responsibility is crucial for sustaining progress.
Touching on the challenge of low teacher enrollment in some communities, Hon. Appiah-Kubi assured parents and school authorities that the Assembly was working closely with the District Education Directorate to increase the number of trained teachers posted to underserved areas. He added that the new accommodation facility at Adeito was specifically constructed to attract and retain teachers in the community, thereby enhancing teaching and learning outcomes.

The DCE also encouraged teachers, staff of the NHIA, and officers of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA) to rededicate themselves to their duties. He reiterated government’s commitment to improving their welfare, providing better working environments, and ensuring that public service delivery remains efficient and impactful.
Traditional leaders and community members who attended the events expressed appreciation to the Assembly for responding to longstanding infrastructural needs. They pledged their support to ensure the proper use and maintenance of the facilities.
The commissioning of the three projects is expected to significantly enhance the provision of education, healthcare services, and agricultural extension support in the Bosome Freho District. The Assembly says it remains committed to rolling out more development projects aimed at improving the quality of life of residents and promoting sustainable growth across the district.
