Bosome Freho DCE Commissions Teachers’ Bungalow at Adeito, Pledges Strong Support for Education

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bosome Freho, Hon. Charles Appiah Kubi, has commissioned a newly completed teachers’ bungalow at Adeito, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to improving educational infrastructure and strengthening community development across the district.

Addressing residents, traditional leaders, and education authorities during the ceremony, Hon. Appiah Kubi emphasized the essential role of community participation in safeguarding public assets. He appealed to the chiefs and elders of Adeito to ensure strict maintenance of the facility, stressing that development projects benefit communities only when they are protected and properly managed.

The DCE further encouraged teachers stationed at Adeito to discharge their duties with dedication and professionalism, assuring them that the government remains committed to providing a safe and conducive environment for teaching and learning. He noted that decent accommodation is a vital incentive for teachers, especially those serving in rural communities.

Hon. Appiah Kubi also pledged to work closely with the district education directorate to address the persistent challenge of teacher shortages in various schools within Bosome Freho. According to him, improving staffing levels is a key priority, as quality education can only be achieved when classrooms are adequately resourced with committed and qualified teachers.

He highlighted that the commissioning of the bungalow forms part of a broader agenda to complete stalled and abandoned projects across the district. His administration, he explained, is determined to ensure that every community benefits from sustainable, well-planned development initiatives.

The commissioning ceremony was warmly welcomed by the chiefs and residents of Adeito, who expressed appreciation for the DCE’s continued efforts to enhance education delivery in the area. They assured him of their support in maintaining the facility to serve its intended purpose.

The new teachers’ bungalow is expected to significantly improve accommodation for educators in the community, thereby boosting morale and contributing to better teaching and learning outcomes in Adeito and its surrounding areas.
