Bishop Samuel Denoo Holds Third Edition of Skills Training Program in Amasaman

Independent Parliamentary Candidate for the Amasaman Constituency, Bishop Samuel K. Denoo, has successfully held the third edition of his flagship skills training program, aimed at equipping residents with entrepreneurial skills to improve their livelihoods.

The initiative, dubbed “Job and Cash,” was held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Medie market in the Amasaman Constituency. The program, which is part of Bishop Denoo’s efforts to promote economic empowerment, attracted hundreds of participants despite heavy rainfall on the day.

This edition of the training focused on a wide range of practical skills, including soap making, cake baking, juice preparation, meat pie making, and shower gel production, among others. These skills were carefully selected to align with market demands, enabling participants to start or expand small-scale businesses.

Speaking to the media during the event, the Spokesperson for Bishop Denoo, Doris Mirekuwa, expressed gratitude to the people of Medie for their enthusiasm and resilience despite the challenging weather conditions. She emphasized the importance of skill acquisition in addressing unemployment and promoting economic independence.

“The response to the skills training program has been overwhelmingly positive. It’s exciting to see people embracing the opportunity to learn skills that can significantly transform their lives,” Madam Mirekuwa stated.

She further highlighted Bishop Denoo’s commitment to creating sustainable opportunities for local entrepreneurs. “Bishop Denoo is a visionary leader who prioritizes the economic welfare of his constituents. He is dedicated to empowering individuals with practical skills and resources to improve their livelihoods. Voting for him is a step towards building a brighter future for Amasaman,” she added.

Beneficiaries of the training expressed their appreciation for Bishop Denoo’s initiative, describing it as life-changing. Many participants vowed to put their newly acquired skills to use and urged other residents to support the Independent Parliamentary Candidate in the upcoming elections.

One participant, Aisha Mensah, shared her excitement, stating, “This training has given me the skills I need to start a small business. I’m grateful to Bishop Denoo for his vision and support. I’ll encourage everyone to vote for him so he can continue his good works.”

The “Job and Cash” program has so far trained over 2,000 individuals in its first and second editions, with plans to reach even more residents in future sessions. Bishop Denoo’s innovative approach to empowering constituents has positioned him as a frontrunner in the Amasaman Parliamentary race, with many locals lauding his efforts to tackle unemployment through practical interventions.

As the election draws near, Bishop Denoo continues to gain support from the community, with residents expressing hope that his leadership will bring sustainable development to the Amasaman Constituency.
