Bekwai NDC Rallies Behind President Mahama’s MCE Nominee, Urges Assembly Members’ Support
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Bekwai Constituency has thrown its full support behind the nomination of Mr. Issaka Salifu as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Bekwai, expressing profound gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for the appointment.
At a press conference held earlier today, the Constituency Communication Officer, Mr. Gabriel Kofi Asiedu, hailed the nomination as a timely and strategic decision that would enhance governance and accelerate development across the Bekwai Municipality.
“We are highly grateful to His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama for nominating a capable and visionary leader like Hon. Issaka Salifu,” Mr. Asiedu stated. “We have no doubt that he will work diligently to address the pressing needs of our people and bring lasting development to Bekwai.”

Turning his attention to the Assembly Members, Mr. Asiedu urged them to put aside political affiliations and unanimously endorse Mr. Salifu during the upcoming confirmation process.
“We humbly call on all Assembly Members to set aside any political differences and unanimously confirm Hon. Issaka Salifu for the good of Bekwai. His leadership will unite us and move the municipality forward,” he stressed.
