Atwima Kwanwoma DCE Presents PPEs to Traditional Authorities.

 

 

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Atwima Kwanwoma district in the Ashanti Region Hon Nana Okyere Tawiah Antwi has presented Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to Traditional Authorities in the area to fight against Covid- 19 pandemic.

Twenty Boxes of hand sanitizers and 1200 pieces of nose masks were presented to chiefs of Kwanwoma and Trede

He said Twenty Six people in the district have contracted the virus,
which there is a need for the people in the district to adhere the Protocols

Hon Nana Okyere Tawiah Antwi,DCE Atwima Kwanwoma district.

He therefore appealed to various traditional authorities to assist the government in the fight against the deadly diseases.

Meanwhile ,thiefs of Atwima Kwanwoma and Trede, Nana Amponsa Kwaa IV, and Nana Nubeng-Sra III respectively thanked DCE for the kind gesture.

They appealed to the president,
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to consider the good works done by Hon Nana Okyere Tawiah Antwi , the District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area to re-appoint him in his second term.

The chiefs averred their DCE had performed extremely well in his first term and believe that if he is retained , the district will see Major developmental projects.

The traditional rulers opined that , changing the DCE will retard development in the district considering the major Development he has brought to the district.
The chiefs said changing Hon Nana Okyere Tawiah Antwi will cause a delay in the progress of the area considering the services he has rendered to the District since his appointment.

“He has done nothing wrong and has served the people well since he assumed office.
His sacking will bring a retrogression in our area. The President must give him another four years and if he is not able to perform then we change him but not now,”kwanwomahene Nana Amponsa Kwaa IV said.
