Hon Kofi Amankwaah Manu member of Parliament for Atwima Kwanwoma constituency together with his DCE and Assembly staff
has handed over a newly constructed three-unit classroom block Anum Asamoah senior High Technical School to promote effective teaching and learning.
The project, valued millions of Ghana had been funded through the MP’s common Fund to help promote quality education delivery in the area.
speaking at the handing over ceremony in Anum Asamoah senior High Technical School was to help create an enabling environment for effective teaching and learning. He said it was the priority of the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government to ensure access to education for all by providing support to schools in communities across the country through its educational intervention programmes.
Hon Kofi Amankwaah Manu expressed determination to support and commitment in collaborating with government and the district Assembly to provide the needed educational infrastructure to the residents in the district.
On her part, Headmistress of Anum Asamoah senior Technical School Mrs Rita Amobea Mensah thanked the member of Parliament Hon Kofi Amankwaah Manu and DCE commitment to promote education in the school, adding that it would help improve on the educational needs of the community.
Mrs Rita Amobea Mensah used the opportunity to appeal to government and stakeholders to come to the aid of the school.
