Atwima Kwanwoma District Chief Executive, Hon. Grace Asamoah Agyemang, has officially commissioned the Apaaso Community Market, marking a significant milestone in local economic development and a boost for small-scale traders in the area. The commissioning ceremony was attended by Honourable Assembly Members, traditional authorities, market women and men, distinguished guests, and members of the community.


In her opening remarks, Hon. Asamoah Agyemang lauded the visionary individual behind the initiative, emphasizing the transformative impact of private investment in community development. She noted that the establishment of the market is not only a business venture but also a meaningful contribution to improving livelihoods, creating employment opportunities, and stimulating local economic growth.
“Markets are the heartbeat of every community,” Hon. Asamoah Agyemang said. “This facility will bring goods and services closer to the people, support small-scale businesses, and enhance the economic well-being of our traders and the wider community.”


The DCE further highlighted the importance of public-private partnerships and community-driven development, stressing that initiatives like this complement government efforts and accelerate progress.
