The District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Atwima Kwanwoma District Assembly, Hon. Grace Asamoah Agyemang, has commended Assembly Members for their unity and maturity following the unanimous re-election of Hon. Anthony Kwame Nsiah as Presiding Member (PM) for a fourth consecutive term.

The election, held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, was conducted in a peaceful and orderly atmosphere, with Hon. Nsiah securing 100 per cent of the votes cast. The outcome reflects the strong confidence and trust Members of the Assembly continue to repose in his leadership.

Speaking to the media after the exercise, Hon. Grace Asamoah Agyemang expressed profound appreciation to the Assembly Members for the cooperation, discipline and sense of unity demonstrated throughout the process. She described the unanimous decision as a clear indication of stability and shared commitment to the development of the district.

According to the DCE, the overwhelming endorsement of the Presiding Member sends a positive signal to residents of Atwima Kwanwoma that the Assembly remains focused on its mandate of delivering effective local governance and accelerated development.

She further reaffirmed her readiness to work closely with the Presiding Member and all stakeholders to advance key development priorities in the district, including infrastructure improvement, education, healthcare delivery, sanitation and economic empowerment initiatives.

Hon. Anthony Kwame Nsiah, in his acceptance remarks, thanked Members of the Assembly for the continued confidence in his leadership. He pledged to discharge his duties with integrity, impartiality and dedication, while ensuring that the affairs of the Assembly are conducted in strict accordance with established rules and procedures.
His fourth consecutive re-election marks a significant milestone in the Assembly’s leadership, reinforcing continuity and stability as the district pursues its development agenda.
