Atwima Foase to Hold Candle Night for Late NPP Constituency 2nd Vice Chairman Henry Akwasi Aning
The youth of Atwima Foase have announced plans to organise a candlelight vigil in honour of the late New Patriotic Party (NPP) Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency Second Vice Chairman, Mr. Henry Akwasi Aning.
The event is scheduled to take place on Friday night at Atwima Foase, bringing together party members, youth groups, sympathisers, and community members to mourn the loss and celebrate the life of the late party leader.
According to the organisers, the vigil aims to pay tribute to Mr. Aning’s dedication and significant contribution to the NPP and the community. They described him as a devoted party man whose commitment to grassroots mobilisation and youth empowerment left a lasting impact.
“The candlelight vigil is not only a moment to grieve but also to reflect on his contributions and show solidarity with the family,” said the youth organisers.
Mr. Henry Akwasi Aning, until his passing, played a vital role in strengthening party structures and fostering unity within the constituency.
The Atwima Foase Youth have called on all NPP members, supporters, and residents of Atwima Foase and surrounding communities to attend the vigil and honour the memory of the late vice chairman.
