ASSIN FOSU: FOSCO Students Appeal For Toilet Facility After Snake Bites Level 300 Student’s Testicle

It will be recalled that Rich Fm and Angel Fm/TV reporter, Shadrack Owusu Asante reported on 12th May 2022 that, a snake has bitten the testicle of a level 300 student at the Assin Fosu College of Education (FOSCO) in the Central region when he was to attending nature’s call in a very deplorable latrine in the school.

3 months after the bizarre incident which plunged the student body into a state of fear and anxiety, the President of the School Representative Council (SRC), Master Alfred Otabil Afful has appealed to the NPP government and other benevolent organizations to at least build them a 10 seater toilet facility to beef up the few existing ones they already have.

Speaking with Rich Fm and Angel TV Reporter Kwame Owusu Asante Shadrack, he noted that the school currently has only 18 seater Water Closets which is woefully inadequate compared to the current 1,600 student population as almost 100 students line up at a go to attend nature’s call.

He appealed at the “Empowering The NPP Leadership Through Training; the Case of Assin Central” program held at Assin Fosu.

Meanwhile, the 1st- National Vice Chairman of the NPP Mr. Dankwa Smith Butey who received the message on behalf of the party and the government at the program believes the 10-seater toilet facility which was requested by the students was not enough.

He however admonished them to request at least 100 seater toilet facility for both males and females since the school population is growing exponentially and he will do whatever necessary to ensure their request comes to fruition.
