The Municipal Chief Executive for Atwima Nwabiagya Municipality in the Ashanti region Hon Michael Amoah Awuku has empowered Assembly Members in the country especially his Municipality to support the Assembly in revenue generation to enhance developmental projects.
He made this worthy advice during the First General Assembly Meeting of the year to assess work done in 2020 and also approved the financial budget for 2021.
According to Hon Awuku, the central government alone cannot provides all the needs of the Assemblies as stringent pragmatic measures has to be adopted to increase the internal generated fund to augment the District Common Fund from the government and spoke with Otec fm reporter Benjamin Kwarteng

Afterwards Hon Nelson Antwi Assembly Member for Afari Electoral Area who is also a conveynor of Finance and Administration Committee of this move as together with other Members lauded it saying it would go a long way to fastrack developmental projects in their areas of some of the Assembly Members Co- operation of this initiative by the Assembly
