Ashanti Regional NDC Secretariat Clarifies Delay in Release of MMDCE Vetting Results

The Ashanti Regional Secretariat of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has issued a clarification regarding the release of results for the recently concluded Municipal, Metropolitan, and District Chief Executive (MMDCE) vetting process.

In a statement signed by Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Secretary, the party addressed concerns raised by applicants and stakeholders over reports suggesting that the vetting results would be released today. Dr. Amoakohene clarified that such reports misquoted the Regional Chairman.

“The vetting process was concluded yesterday, but the report is yet to be ratified. Once finalized, the results will be communicated to all stakeholders and submitted to the National Secretariat and the Office of the President,” the statement emphasized.

The Secretariat reassured applicants and stakeholders of its commitment to conducting a transparent and fair process. Dr. Amoakohene urged all concerned parties to exercise patience as the Secretariat works diligently to finalize and announce the results.

“We kindly urge all applicants and stakeholders to remain calm as we remain committed to a transparent and fair process. Thank you for your patience,” the statement concluded.

The clarification aims to dispel any misinformation circulating about the timeline for the announcement and maintain trust in the process.

For further inquiries, stakeholders can contact the Ashanti Regional Secretariat of the NDC.
