Ashanti Regional Minister Receives Ejura Sekyeredumase MP, Highlights Major Education Infrastructure Projects
Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has reaffirmed government’s strong commitment to educational development in the Ejura Sekyeredumase Constituency following a courtesy call by the Member of Parliament, Hon. Mohammed Bawa Braimah.

The meeting, held on Tuesday afternoon, focused on key development priorities of the constituency, with particular emphasis on education infrastructure aimed at improving teaching and learning outcomes across communities in the area. Dr. Amoakohene commended the MP for his dedication and proactive engagement, noting that his efforts have resulted in the implementation of several critical projects designed to ease pressure on existing school facilities and enhance access to quality education.
Among the major interventions discussed was the ongoing development at Ejuraman Anglican Senior High School, where a modern dining hall, a spacious assembly hall, and a three-storey, 18-unit classroom block are being delivered to support the growing student population. These facilities are expected to significantly improve academic life and general welfare on campus.

At the basic education level, the Teacherkrom T.I. Ahmadiyya Primary School is benefiting from the construction of a six-unit classroom block, while Kobiriti T.I. Ahmadiyya Junior High School is receiving a three-unit classroom block to create a more conducive learning environment for pupils and teachers. In addition, Krampong M/A Primary School is also set to benefit from a three-unit classroom block to address overcrowding and improve instructional delivery.
Dr. Amoakohene described the projects as strategic investments that will strengthen the foundation of education in the constituency, reduce infrastructure deficits, and promote equal learning opportunities for children across Ejura Sekyeredumase. He praised Hon. Mohammed Bawa Braimah for his commitment to the welfare of his constituents and assured him of the Regional Coordinating Council’s continued support for initiatives that drive sustainable development.
The Ashanti Regional Minister further expressed appreciation to former President, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, for his leadership and vision, which continue to inspire development-focused policies and interventions across the region.

He concluded by stressing that through collaboration, dedication, and focused leadership, the Ashanti Region will continue to record tangible progress in education and other key sectors, ensuring lasting benefits for present and future generations.
