The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has lauded MTN Ghana for its steadfast support of the Ashanti Fest, describing the telecommunications giant’s partnership as pivotal in promoting culture, unity, and community empowerment across the Ashanti Region.

Speaking at the official launch of the 2026 Ashanti Fest held at Kaasi in Kumasi, Dr. Amoakohene highlighted MTN Ghana’s consistent role in fully funding and sponsoring the festival over the years, ensuring its continued growth and far-reaching impact.

“This festival is more than a celebration; it is a platform that unites our communities and reinforces our cultural identity. MTN Ghana’s support has been instrumental in making this possible,” he remarked.

The Regional Minister further commended the festival organizing team and MTN Ghana for their unwavering dedication in executing the event. He emphasized that their commitment reflects a successful blending of modernization with traditional cultural values.
