The Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has reiterated the government’s commitment to the development of the Ashanti Region and the nation at large. He made this statement during a joint open forum and familiarization meeting with the staff of the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) following a successful management meeting earlier this week.
The meeting, held at the RCC premises in Kumasi, provided an avenue for open engagement between the Minister and the staff, allowing for discussions on key issues affecting their work, challenges, and strategies for enhancing service delivery. Hon. Dr. Amoakohene underscored the importance of teamwork and dedication in ensuring the successful implementation of government policies at the regional level.
“I emphasized H.E. the President’s commitment to the Ashanti Region and Ghana at large and the need for us all to support his vision wholeheartedly to push our nation forward,” he stated. “Together, we build a stronger future.”
During the interactive session, staff members had the opportunity to voice their concerns, share ideas, and suggest ways to improve the operations of the RCC. The Minister assured them of his readiness to work closely with all stakeholders to address their concerns and ensure an efficient and effective administration in the region.
Hon. Dr. Amoakohene further encouraged the staff to uphold professionalism, integrity, and dedication in their respective roles, as their contributions are crucial to the overall development of the Ashanti Region.
The meeting forms part of the Minister’s broader initiative to engage various stakeholders in the region, strengthen collaboration, and ensure that government policies are effectively implemented to benefit the people of Ashanti.
The event was attended by key officials of the RCC, department heads, and other staff members, all of whom expressed their appreciation for the Minister’s proactive approach in engaging with them.
With this engagement, Hon. Dr. Amoakohene has set the tone for a more inclusive and results-driven administration aimed at promoting sustainable development in the Ashanti Region.
