Dr. Amoakohene acknowledged the immense contributions of the Anglican Church in the areas of moral guidance, education, and social welfare, emphasizing that religious institutions remain crucial partners in nation-building. He commended the Church’s efforts in promoting social cohesion, discipline, and community development, which align with the government’s vision for a prosperous Ashanti Region.

“The Anglican Church has been a pillar of moral and social development, and I deeply appreciate their dedication to community service. As a government, we recognize the significant role religious institutions play in fostering peace, unity, and national progress,” Dr. Amoakohene stated.

The meeting explored ways in which the government and the Church could collaborate in key areas such as education, health, and youth empowerment. The Anglican Church reaffirmed its commitment to supporting developmental initiatives and pledged to continue working with government agencies to improve the lives of the people.

Dr. Amoakohene expressed optimism about future engagements and called for stronger partnerships between the government and faith-based organizations to enhance the well-being of residents in the Ashanti Region.
