Ashanti Regional Minister Briefs Manhyia Traditional Council on Adum PZ Fire, Pledges Support for Victims

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Amoakohene, has paid a formal visit to Manhyia to brief the Traditional Council on the recent devastating fire incident at Adum PZ, which has displaced several traders and affected livelihoods.

During the engagement, Dr. Amoakohene provided a comprehensive update on the extent of the damage, ongoing relief efforts, and the government’s commitment to assisting victims. He also sought the wisdom and guidance of the revered traditional leaders in efforts to restore normalcy in the affected area.

“This meeting with the Manhyia Traditional Council was crucial in ensuring that our response efforts are well-coordinated. Their leadership and support are vital as we work towards rebuilding what has been lost,” the Minister stated.

Following the briefing, Dr. Amoakohene took time to engage directly with the affected traders and youth, listening to their concerns and assessing their immediate needs. Despite their losses, he commended their resilience and assured them of the government’s unwavering support.
