Ashanti Regional Council of State Elections: Rev. Alexander Nti Calls for Peaceful and Transparent Polls

As the Ashanti Regional Council of State election draws closer, aspirant Rev. Alexander Nti has urged delegates, electoral officials, and all stakeholders to ensure a peaceful, free, and fair electoral process.

Speaking at a press conference at his residence in Ejisu today, Rev. Nti, who is number five on the ballot, expressed confidence in his chances of winning the election. He emphasized that while he strongly believes in his victory, his priority is for the election to be conducted in a transparent manner.

> “I know that by God’s grace, victory is already mine, but what I pray for is a peaceful and credible election. I urge the Electoral Commission to ensure fairness so that the true will of the delegates prevails,” he said.

Confidence in Victory and Appeal to Delegates

Rev. Nti reassured his supporters that all indications point to his victory and urged delegates to make the right choice for the development of the Ashanti Region. He cautioned against any last-minute influences that could sway the election results unfairly.

> “I am calling on all delegates not to make a mistake by voting for any other candidate. The right leadership is needed at the Council of State, and I am fully prepared to serve and advocate for the progress of our region,” he added.

A Call for Transparency and Orderly Conduct

Rev. Nti emphasized that a credible election is vital for democracy, and he expects all stakeholders, including security agencies and election officials, to uphold the integrity of the process.

As the election takes place tomorrow, anticipation is high among candidates and their supporters. The winner will represent the Ashanti Region on the Council of State, providing key advisory support to the President of Ghana.

Rev. Nti ended his address by urging peace, unity, and transparency throughout the election process, hoping that the best candidate will emerge victorious in the interest of the region.
