He encouraged them to rise above apathy and actively engage in community projects that would enhance the town’s social and economic growth.

The Assemblyman commended the efforts of the homecoming organising committee, led by Mr. Collins Agyei, as well as the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Asafo Agyei, and other key organisers, for their dedication and effective coordination which ensured a successful launch. He noted that strong leadership and collective participation are fundamental to achieving lasting development.

He emphasised that while government support remains important, community-driven efforts and youth involvement are equally vital.

The event was characterised by colourful cultural performances, including poetry recitals, drama, and energetic dance displays by children of the community, reflecting the rich cultural heritage and talent within Asanti Oyoko.

The Asanti Oyoko Homecoming launch, according to Hon. Emmanuel Akuoko Oyoko, represents a renewed commitment by the community to unity, self-help, and development, with the youth positioned at the centre of the town’s future transformation..
