Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu take lessons from Great Olympics defeat

Asante Kotoko head coach, Maxwell Konadu says his team has taken lessons from the narrow 1-0 defeat to Great Olympics on Thursday afternoon in the Ghana Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors club hosted the Dade Boys at the Accra Sports Stadium today for a clash in the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghanaian top-flight league season.

In a game where Great Olympics displayed good form, an equalizer from Michael Yeboah in the 53rd minute powered the team to stun Asante Kotoko at the end of the 90 minutes.

Speaking in a post-match interview after the shocking defeat, Coach Maxwell Konadu has indicated that it was a tough encounter.

“It was a difficult game. The first half we didn’t look good but we came into the second half and started doing the basic things,” the gaffer said.

Coach Maxwell Konadu continued, “We have taken lessons from this and will work on them.”

Courtesy of today’s defeat, Asante Kotoko now sits 11th on the standings of the Ghana Premier League.
