Appointments Committee recommends approval of two nominees to the Supreme Court

 

 

The Appointment Committee of Parliament has recommended for approval two nominees for the position of Supreme Court Justices.

The committee made the recommendation by a unanimous decision.

The two are Justices Barbara Frances Ackah-Yensu and Samuel Kwame Adibu Asiedu.

The Committee in its report to the House said “The Committee therefore recommends to the House by consensus the approval of Justice Barbara Frances Ackah-Yensu and Justice Samuel Kwame Adibu Asiedu as justices of the Supreme Court.

“The Committee also request to the House to adopt its report and approve the nominees as Justices of the Supreme Court.”
