The Founder and General Overseer of the Divine Miracle Revival Missionary of Ghana, Apostle Dr Agyenim Boateng, has made a passionate appeal to the Government of Ghana to urgently address the challenges facing cocoa farmers across the country.

He made the call during a powerful three-day Easter convention held at the Odumasi School Park in Amasaman, which attracted a large number of worshippers from across the region to celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The spiritually uplifting event, held under the theme drawn from Matthew 21:3, was marked by intense praise and worship, heartfelt prayers, and moments of deep reflection. The atmosphere was filled with joy as congregants engaged in singing and thanksgiving, creating a strong sense of unity and revival throughout the three-day program.
Preaching as the main speaker, Apostle Dr Boateng delivered powerful sermons centered on obedience to God’s word, humility, and total surrender to Christ.

He encouraged believers to remain steadfast in their faith and to live lives that reflect the teachings of Jesus Christ, especially during the Easter season.
A key highlight of the convention was the winning of many souls for Christ, as several individuals reportedly made decisions to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Savior. Organizers described this as one of the most significant outcomes of the event, emphasizing that the church remains committed to spreading the gospel and transforming lives through the message of salvation.

However, alongside the spiritual messages, Apostle Dr Boateng used the occasion to draw attention to the economic hardships faced by cocoa farmers in Ghana. He expressed concern that many farmers continue to struggle due to unfavourable pricing structures, despite their vital contribution to the nation’s economy.

“As we celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, I humbly appeal to the government to also remember our cocoa farmers by paying them the right price for their produce. Many of them are suffering, and this is affecting their households and even members of my church,” he stated.
He stressed that the essence of Easter—symbolising sacrifice, love, and redemption—should inspire national leaders to act with fairness, compassion, and justice, particularly towards hardworking farmers who play a crucial role in sustaining the country’s economy.
The Apostle further called on ministers of the gospel to intensify their efforts in evangelism, especially during significant periods such as Easter, which he described as a critical time for spiritual reflection and outreach.

He also advised young people to embrace Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour while avoiding drug abuse and other negative behaviours that could derail their future. According to him, a life anchored in Christ provides hope, direction, and purpose for the younger generation.

Participants at the convention expressed deep appreciation for the teachings and the opportunity to experience such a spiritually enriching gathering. Many described the event as life-changing, noting that it strengthened their faith and renewed their commitment to serving God.

The successful hosting of the Easter convention highlights the growing influence of the Divine Miracle Revival Missionary of Ghana in spreading the gospel and impacting communities with messages of hope, salvation, and transformation. Organizers have indicated plans to continue hosting similar programmes in the future as part of their mission to win more souls and advance the work of God across Ghana and beyond.
