A shocking case of violence in Antoa has left Nana Afriyie, a respected member of the Antoa Royal Family, severely injured following an alleged brutal attack orchestrated by Akwesi Afrifa.
The incident occurred during the introduction of a new chief to the community. According to Nana Afriyie, she was about to ask a question when Afrifa forcefully restrained her, covered her mouth, and ordered approximately 15 men to assault her viciously.
Eyewitnesses expressed outrage as the Antoa Police, who were present at the scene, failed to intervene. When confronted later, officers reportedly claimed they were there to protect the person who requested their assistance, not bystanders. This response has sparked a wave of public anger and calls for accountability.
