Pupils of Ampaha basic school in the Bosome Freho district of Ashanti study under wooden fenced structure which makes teaching studies difficult for both teachers and students.
Speaking with the assembly member for the area hon Maxwell said, he tried all his possible best together with the community in the aspect of documentation to the district assembly to get the community a better school building structures but to no avail.
Queen mother of the community Nana Abena Frema added to it that, anytime it’s rains heavily, school must force to close because both teachers and students will get wet which is making the education system very difficult in the area.
She also mentioned of inaccessibility of portable drinking water in the community.
She explained further that, the situation is bear before the district assembly and all political leaders in the area as the school is their polling station where all the party executives comes there to monitor their electoral activities but has turned blind eye to the situation.
She appealed to government for assistance.
