Madam Joana Gyan Cudjoe, NDC Parliamentary candidate for Amenfi Central in the Western Region, who is also the Western Regional patron of the women working committee has presented GH¢20,000 cash to each Women’s organiser of the 17 constituencies in the Western Region.
The total GHC340,000 is meant to assist the mobilisation efforts of the women organisers towards the December 7, 2024 elections.
The gesture follows Joana Gyan Cudjoe’s recognition of the crucial role women play in the party’s organization, especially during elections .
The PC also presented GHc100,000 to the Regional Women’s Organiser and GHc30,000 each to her two deputies to empower the Women’s Organisers to mobilize more women for the party.
This generous donation totalling GHc500,000 demonstrates Joana Gyan Cudjoe’s commitment to supporting women in politics and ensuring the NDC’s success in the upcoming elections.
Presenting the amount to the Western Regional women’s organiser, Madam Gladys Egyir and the Deputy Western Regional treasurer, Ms Mirian Plange-Kwofie, in her office, Joana Gyan Cudjoe emphasized the importance of unity and called on all party supporters to bury their differences and work towards a common goal.
She urged everyone to join the campaign to ensure victory for the John Dramani Mahama and Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman ticket, as well as all 17 NDC Parliamentary Candidates in the Western Region.
