Amansie West True Faith Church International Praises Nana Sarfo for Monumental Contributions to Church and Community
The True Faith Church International in the Amansie West District has commended Mr. John Sarfo, popularly known as Nana Sarfo, for his immense contributions to the church and the broader community.
Nana Sarfo, a devoted member and caretaker of the Manso Abodom branch of True Faith Church International, recently made a landmark contribution by personally constructing a fully furnished church building for the congregation. Beyond his devotion to church development, he has been actively involved in supporting community initiatives, including helping less privileged individuals, students, widows, and orphans.
Speaking to the church media, Nana Sarfo shared his inspiring journey. He revealed that he grew up in poverty, having lost his parents at a young age. “I decided to follow Jesus and, through hard work, I have reached where I am today,” he said. Motivated by his faith and a desire to honor God, he likened his decision to build a temple for God to King David building the temple to receive God’s blessings. He emphasized the importance of hard work, godly living, and using one’s resources to support God’s work as a path to divine favor.
Nana Sarfo also used the occasion to encourage the youth to embrace godly principles, work diligently, and use their wealth to support church initiatives. “Be cheerful givers to receive God’s blessings,” he urged.
The District Pastor of True Faith Church International in Amansie West also commended Nana Sarfo for his unwavering commitment to God’s work and humanitarian efforts. He encouraged him to continue his selfless service and prayed for God’s blessings upon his life to enable him to do even more.
Members of the church have echoed this admiration, affectionately describing him as “Okumkom”, a testament to his dedication to the welfare of others and his generous spirit.
