Amansie West Assembly Members Give 100% Endorsement to DCE Nominee Prince Manu Moris

In a resounding display of confidence, Prince Manu Moris has been unanimously confirmed as the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Amansie West District, receiving 100% endorsement from all 39 Assembly Members.

The confirmation exercise, held on Thursday at the Amansie West District Assembly Hall in Manso Nkwanta, saw Mr. Moris secure all 39 valid votes cast—an outcome widely hailed as a vote of trust in his leadership.

The event drew a large crowd, including government officials, traditional authorities, party faithful, and residents, all eager to witness the crucial decision.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Moris expressed profound gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for the nomination, describing the opportunity to serve as a great honour and a call to higher responsibility.

“I am deeply humbled by the confidence reposed in me, and I assure the good people of Amansie West that I will work tirelessly to bring positive change and development to our communities,” he pledged.

Outlining his development vision for the district, Mr. Moris highlighted improved infrastructure, access to quality education, and youth empowerment as top priorities. He also emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration among all stakeholders.

“We must work together, regardless of our differences, to uplift the lives of our people. Unity and teamwork will be the bedrock of our success,” he noted.

Following the confirmation, several traditional leaders and residents commended President Mahama for appointing Mr. Moris, expressing optimism about the future of the district under his leadership.
