Amansie South DCE and MP Donate Building Materials to Support Manso Subinso Community School Projects

In a significant effort to improve educational infrastructure in the Amansie South District, the District Chief Executive (DCE) Hon Lawyer Clement Opoku Gyamfi and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Manso Adubia Constituency Hon Yaw Frimpong Addo earlier today have donated 100 bags of cement and 6 packets of roofing sheets to the Manso Subinso community. This donation is intended to support ongoing construction projects at the Manso Subinso Community School,

The donation was made by Honourable Lawyer Clement Opoku Gyamfi, the District Chief Executive, affectionately known as “CID,” and Honourable Yaw Frimpong Addo, the Member of Parliament for Manso Adubia. Both leaders have been active in addressing the infrastructural needs of the district’s educational institutions, recognizing the crucial role that a conducive learning environment plays in shaping the future of the youth.

 

During the presentation ceremony, Honourable Clement Opoku Gyamfi emphasized the importance of utilizing the donated materials effectively. He urged the school authorities and the community to ensure that the cement and roofing sheets are used to complete the construction projects, which include the building of additional classrooms and the renovation of existing structures.

“It is our collective responsibility to ensure that these materials are put to good use. We are committed to supporting education in our district, but it is essential that the community plays its part in maintaining and enhancing these facilities,” Honourable Gyamfi stated. He also encouraged the community to fulfill their civic duties, particularly in paying taxes and other revenues, to enable the government to fund more developmental projects.

“Developmental progress in our area relies not only on the support from leaders but also on the active participation of the community. Paying your dues helps us to continue with such initiatives that benefit everyone,” he added.

Honourable Yaw Frimpong Addo, the MP for Manso Adubia, reiterated his commitment to advancing education in the constituency. He highlighted the importance of strong school infrastructure in providing quality education and preparing students for future challenges.

“The success of our children is directly linked to the environment in which they learn. By investing in our schools, we are investing in the future of our community. I am proud to support these projects, and I will continue to work towards improving educational facilities throughout our constituency,” Honourable Frimpong Addo remarked.

Receiving the building materials on behalf of the Manso Subinso community, Nana Kwabena Mensah, a local leader, expressed deep gratitude to the DCE and MP for their generous support. He acknowledged the critical impact these materials would have on the school projects, noting that the donation comes at a crucial time when the school is expanding.

“On behalf of the Manso Subinso community, I extend our heartfelt thanks to Honourable Clement Opoku Gyamfi and Honourable Yaw Frimpong Addo. Your support is invaluable, and it will go a long way in enhancing the educational infrastructure in our community,” Nana Kwabena Mensah said.

The donated materials will be used to accelerate the ongoing construction of new classrooms  at the Manso Subinso Community School. The project expected to  create a  conducive learning environment for the students.

The DCE and MP concluded the ceremony by encouraging the community to continue working together to ensure the successful completion of the school projects. They also called on other stakeholders to contribute to the development of educational infrastructure in the district, underscoring the importance of collective effort in achieving sustainable growth.

The donation of 100 bags of cement and 6 packets of roofing sheets is a significant step toward improving the educational facilities at Manso Subinso Community School, ensuring that the students and teachers have a better environment to thrive academically.
