The workaholic NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Tamale South Constituency, Hon. Alhaji Fuseini Musah, today Saturday, September 28, 2024, commenced the reshaping and graveling work on the Dungu Junction Road to UDS and other surrounding areas.
The Former Mayor of Tamale Metro and Deputy CEO of the Forestry Commission were in attendance to witness and support the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the start of the work.
This Particular Road has been in a very deplorable state for the past years and the good people of Dungu Electoral Area continued to complain bitterly about the bad nature of it.
The community members appealed severally to the current MP to come to their aid, but he turned a deaf ear to it. This has angered members of the community for lack of development in the Dungu Electoral Area.
Alhaji Fuseini Musah, as listening leader, came to the rescue of the people, and work commenced in earnest on this particular Road, which community members called “Abortion Road ” due to its ramshackle nature and the problems it caused to pregnant women who ply the Road.
It was a great moment when the community members were full of happiness, joy, and excitement. They expressed their utmost appreciation and delight for the work to be done which comes at the right time.
The delegation led by the Parliamentary Candidate, together with the Former Mayor and Deputy CEO of the Forestry Commission, the Constituency Chairman, Constituency Executives, Electoral Area Coordinators, Polling sta,tion, and Party faithful called on the Chief of the Dungu Electoral Area.
The work commenced after the greenlight was given by the venerable Chief, his subjects, and other relevant opinion leaders at the Palace. This, indeed, has given hope to the people.
Some of the representatives from the Chief’s Palace and community members couldn’t hide their joy and pledged to vote massively for Alhaji Fuseini Musah and H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the December 7 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
The Deputy CEO of the Forestry Commission and the Constituency Chairman also added their voices and entreated community members to always vote based on development.
Finally, Alhaji Fuseini Musah, in a brief presentation, called on the people to embrace development since it’s the only channel for progress and Empowerment.
He further informed members that the NPP government has shown the way with the implementation of the DRIP Equipment which has come at the right time to help in carrying out major developmental projects in the various Electoral Areas.
