Ahafo Ano South-West: Minister, DCE pledges to complete abandoned projects

The Ashanti Regional Minister Dr Frank Amoakohene has pledged to prioritize the completion of abandoned government projects in the district.

His assurance follows a working visit and engagement with Chiefs, Assembly Staffs, Assembly members and key figures aimed at tackling developmental challenges.

Ahafo Ano South-West, one of farminig district in the Ashanti Region has numerous stalled projects, including Agenda 111 projects, many of which have been left incomplete due to inadequate funding or lack of political commitment.

Speaking in an interview, Dr Frank Amoakohene emphasized his administration’s commitment to reviving these critical infrastructure projects under the new NDC government.

He assured Nananom and residents that efforts would be made to secure the necessary resources to ensure project continuity.

He further urged departmental heads and residents to support his leadership and NDC stressing that collective effort is key to the district’s progress.

He expressed optimism that with collaboration, the District could experience significant improvements in infrastructure and public services.

His assurance has reignited hope among residents, chiefs, Assembly Members and many of whom have long called for urgent action on the district’s developmental needs.

In a short but impressive address, the DCE for Ahafo Ano South-West, Hon. Abubakar Sedik said the visit of the Minister to the district is to avail himself and interact with Nananom, Assembly members and staffs to find out the way all hands would be put on table to develop the district.

He is optimistic that, all the abandoned projects and current projects will be completed.
