The DCE further assured members that the Assembly remains fully committed to the principles of transparency, accountability, and participatory governance. He called on all stakeholders, including traditional authorities, Assembly Members, and development partners, to work closely together to ensure the successful execution of the approved plans and projects.

“We have all played our part in developing these plans and budgets, and it is now time to ensure their proper implementation to bring tangible benefits to our people. The collective commitment of everyone here will determine the level of progress our district achieves,” Hon. Sedik stated.
Heads of Departments also took turns to present progress reports on ongoing projects and programmes under the 2025 Development Plan. Members reviewed the performance of various sectors, identified implementation challenges, and proposed practical solutions to improve service delivery and project execution in 2026.

The Presiding Member of the Assembly, who chaired the meeting, lauded the cordial working relationship among members and expressed confidence that the Assembly’s resolutions would translate into measurable improvements in the lives of residents. He also urged members to step up public education in their electoral areas to ensure community involvement in local governance and development processes.
