The Nursing school will commence soon
District Chief Executive for Atwima Mponua District, Isaac Kofi Marfo together with Hon.Isaac Kwame Asiamah-MP welcomed the Head of Health Training Institutes at the Ministry of Health, Mr. Felix Kwame Nyanteh to the yet to commence Nursing Training School in Atwima Mponua.
Addressing the issues, Mr. Nyanteh commended, the MP, the DCE and Nananom for our pivotal role in making sure a Nursing training Institute is established in the Atwima enclave.
He admonished us to complete some few tasks to consummate the process and begin admissions in April 2023.
He added that, a policy approval from the ministry is ready which shall be followed by certification from the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and final accreditation from the National Accreditation Board (NAB).
Hon. Isaac Asiamah lauded the effort of the ministry in the actualization of the nursing training institute. He promised to work together with authorities to speed up the remaining works to meet the deadline and start admissions in the stipulated time lines of the Ministry.
He again urged the contractors on site to speed up the work to meet all deadlines.
“I also used the opportunity to thank the officer from the ministry for a good job and guidance to meet the required standards” the MP added.
