One person has been confirmed dead following a mob attack that occurred on two foreigners on Thursdays night.
The two foreigners, an Ivorian and a Cameroon were attacked and beating following an allegation that, they snatched someone’s car and two children.
Whilst some reports suggest the aforementioned allegations, other reports suggest that the two only took someone’s phone.
The two were said to have been chased from Adabraka near Pankrono as luck eluded them at Ahwiaa where they received the mob attack.
Mrs. Faha Nadine Victoire, wife of the 44 year old deceased, Akroman Betro Stephanie speaking to NEWSMEN said, her husband was innocent.
According to her, they two deceased are both from Cameroon.
Meanwhile, the MCE for the area, Hon. Opoku Agyemang Agyemang Bonsu has urged the Police to thoroughly investigate the matter till anyone found culpable to be arrested and dealt with.
