A Mother’s Blessings Can Unlock Success – Mama Anita Preaches at Kumasi-Abuakwa

The Founder and Spiritual Leader of the Aura Eagle Spiritual Center at Kumasi-Abuakwa, Mama Anita, has delivered a deeply moving sermon emphasizing the unmatched power of a mother’s blessings in shaping one’s destiny and unlocking life’s greatest successes. She described a mother’s prayer as a divine key that can open doors no pastor or spiritual leader can, urging Ghanaians never to neglect or dishonor their parents.

Speaking to a large congregation during a spiritual service at her center, Mama Anita highlighted the vital connection between parental blessings, culture, and divine favor. According to her, many people unknowingly struggle in life because they have ignored the sacred role their mothers and fathers play in their spiritual growth and overall success.

> “Your mother’s blessing can open doors that no amount of fasting or prayer can. The first voice that interceded for you before you could speak was your mother’s. If you neglect her, you close the very door through which God sends your blessings,” she declared passionately.

Mama Anita explained that in the spiritual realm, mothers serve as a divine link between their children and God, carrying both the physical and spiritual burdens of their offspring. She noted that when a mother sheds tears of pain because of her child’s neglect, those tears carry great spiritual consequences that can hinder progress and peace.

“No matter how successful you are, if your mother cries because of your actions, heaven records it. A mother’s curse is silent but powerful. You may think you’re prospering, but everything will start to collapse with time. Honor your mother, and your life will never lack grace,” she warned.

The spiritual leader lamented how modernity and materialism have caused many young people to abandon their parents after achieving financial success. She criticized the growing trend where some individuals allow others—especially self-proclaimed prophets—to convince them that their mothers are the source of their problems.

> “It’s very painful to see people insult or reject their mothers because a so-called man of God said she’s a witch. How can the same woman who gave you life be your enemy? That belief alone brings misfortune. Your mother’s hands are full of blessings — not curses,” she said.

Mama Anita further explained that no pastor or prophet can break the spiritual law that governs the relationship between a parent and child. She described this law as one of God’s unchangeable principles, where honoring one’s parents attracts favor and long life, while dishonor brings hardship and pain.

“No spiritual leader can deliver you from the consequences of neglecting your parents. Nature and God Himself have set this rule: honor your father and mother so that your days may be long. When you disobey it, you bring your own punishment,” she stated.

She also touched on the cultural dimension of parental respect, reminding Ghanaians that traditional African values are deeply rooted in the principles of family, unity, and gratitude. Mama Anita said throwing away these cultural practices in the name of modern religion has disconnected many people from their sources of blessings.

“Our culture teaches us to kneel and greet our elders, to show gratitude to our parents, and to take care of them. These are not outdated customs — they are sacred values that sustain blessings in our lives. If you throw them away, you’re throwing away your destiny,” she cautioned.

In her sermon, Mama Anita also urged parents to continue praying for their children, even when they go astray. She said a mother’s consistent prayer, spoken from a heart of love, has the power to change a child’s destiny, protect them from evil, and attract divine favor.

“When a mother prays from her heart, heaven listens. That’s why mothers should never curse their children, no matter how disobedient they become. Speak blessings, and those blessings will follow them wherever they go,” she encouraged.

Her message deeply resonated with the congregation, drawing tears from several attendees who were visibly moved by her words. Some members testified that they had previously taken their parents for granted but had now resolved to make amends and seek their blessings.

Mama Anita concluded her sermon with a powerful reminder that honoring parents, especially mothers, is a divine investment that guarantees lasting success.

“Never underestimate your mother’s blessing. It is more powerful than money, education, or fame. When your mother prays for you, even heaven pays attention. Value her, honor her, and your life will flourish,” she concluded.

The atmosphere at the Aura Eagle Spiritual Center was filled with emotion as the congregation joined hands in prayer, thanking God for the gift of mothers and vowing to uphold the sacred values of family, respect, and gratitude.
