A 22-year-old Legon student commits suicide

A 22 old- boy, Saviour Awudu, is reported to have committed suicide

A student of the University of Ghana Legon, was found hanging on a ceiling fan in his room at Collins Dauda road, adjacent to Dauda Mosque, community 18 Lashibi, at Tema, in the early hours of Monday morning, November 7th 2022

He was found by his brother with a rope tied around his neck on a ceiling fan.

A resident, in an interview with Samuel Osei and Theophilus Asempa of Ahotor Fm News expressed surprise of the deceased sudden absence.

Various checks by the family to find out the whereabout of the deceased for a week, resulted in the sudden shock when his door was broken into.

His 2022 registered Toyota Camry car was packed on the compound with his air-condition still on.

The deceased was described as a very calm person and therefore, his sudden demise was received as a shock to those nearby.

The family is in pains as to what could have caused the innocent young man to have terminated his life at such an early age.

The body of the deceased was taken away believed to be deposited at a morgue by the Criminal Investigations Department of the Baatsoona Police.
