The founder of Sonia Inspires organization (NGO) in the Sunyani municipal of Bono region, Madam Sonia Laryea has advised female students in various universities to add value to their potentials to prepare them to leadership positions in the country.
She however urged them to always let the public hear their voices on any form of intimidations and harassment men do against them while acquiring knowledge in various tertiary institutions.
Madam Sonia Laryea was speaking to Oyerepa news during a day Entrepreneurship and Skills Training workshop organized in collaboration with PUSAG women’s commissioner and SRC/NUGS WOCOM of Ghana Baptist University College, Amakom for female students.
The Guest speaker for the occasion, Madam Rosemond Obeng, a women advocacy,used the occasion to appealed to members of parliament to speed up the passage of affirmative action bills before parliament to help increase women participation in parliament and other Leadership positions.
The women commissioner of Ghana Baptist University College, Miss Fati Abubakar and some participants shared their benefits from the seminar.
