The highly anticipated event will be headlined by sensational Ghanaian rapper Oseikrom Sikani, alongside drill star O’Kenneth and energetic hype man AJ Aroma, promising an electrifying night for thousands of music lovers across the Ashanti Region and beyond.
The concert forms the grand climax of this year’s MTN–AshantiFest celebrations, an initiative being spearheaded by the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council in collaboration with MTN Ghana as the proud sponsor. The festival is designed to promote tourism, showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Ashanti Region, and drive socio-economic development through a blend of entertainment, arts, sports, and trade exhibitions.

Known for his energetic stagecraft and hit songs such as Bend Your Body, Ronaldinho, and Fine Girl, Oseikrom Sikani is expected to dominate the stage with his signature performance style and strong connection with fans. His headline appearance has already generated massive excitement, with expectations high that he will deliver one of the most memorable performances of the night. He will be joined by O’Kenneth, one of Ghana’s leading drill artistes, whose growing catalogue of street anthems continues to resonate strongly with the youth. His performance is expected to inject raw energy and a vibrant street culture vibe into the concert atmosphere. AJ Aroma, widely known for his electrifying crowd control and hype performance skills, will also play a crucial role in sustaining audience energy throughout the event.

Beyond the music, MTN–AshantiFest has already recorded significant success through a series of pre-event activities. These include a regional U-17 football tournament, a vibrant food fair showcasing local delicacies, and a street art festival that transformed parts of Kumasi into a colourful cultural exhibition space. The mural projects, led by students from various senior high schools, have enhanced the city’s visual appeal while celebrating Ghanaian heritage, local heroes, and historic landmarks.
The festival is being championed under the leadership of the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, whose vision and commitment have been instrumental in positioning MTN–AshantiFest as a leading cultural and developmental platform in the region. His leadership, together with key stakeholders, has ensured the successful execution of the festival’s diverse programmes.
The grand finale will also coincide with the closing of the MTN–AshantiFest Trade Expo, which has provided a dynamic platform for entrepreneurs, artisans, and businesses to showcase their products and services. The expo has been widely praised for boosting local commerce, encouraging networking, and stimulating economic activity within the region.

As anticipation continues to build, Kumasi is expected to host thousands of revelers, with security agencies and event organizers intensifying preparations to ensure a smooth, safe, and well-coordinated experience. Organizers have assured the public that all logistical arrangements are in place for a world-class concert experience.
