The Member of Parliament for the Kumawu Constituency, Hon Ernest Yaw Anim, has commissioned a modern 10-seater water closet (WC) sanitation facility for the people of Akotosu, in a significant effort aimed at improving public health, sanitation, and environmental conditions within the community.

The commissioning ceremony, held yesterday, attracted a large gathering of residents, traditional authorities, opinion leaders, and party faithful, who assembled to witness the official handing over of the facility. The project is expected to address longstanding sanitation challenges in the area and provide residents with access to a clean, safe, and dignified place of convenience.

In his address, Hon. Anim reiterated his unwavering commitment to enhancing the living standards of his constituents through strategic and impactful development interventions. He emphasized that access to proper sanitation is fundamental to human dignity and plays a crucial role in preventing the spread of communicable diseases.

He further noted that the provision of the facility forms part of a broader development agenda focused on improving infrastructure and promoting a healthier environment across communities in the Kumawu Constituency.
