The Bosuso Youth Association has launched a major youth empowerment initiative dubbed the “Youth Connect For Development ” aimed at supporting about 4,000 young people engaged in artisan work and small businesses in Bosuso in the Fanteakwa South District ahead of the Easter festivities.

The campaign seeks to strengthen youth-led enterprises and provide opportunities for skills development, networking, and business support within the community. Organizers say the initiative is designed to empower young artisans, traders, and entrepreneurs to expand their businesses while contributing positively to the local economy.

Speaking ahead of the launch, the Youth President of the association, Mr Samuel Mante, stated that the initiative will serve as a significant booster for young people in the area. According to him, the program is expected to encourage productive engagement among the youth, helping to reduce social vices such as drug abuse.

Mr. Mante emphasized that by supporting youth businesses and artisanal work, the association aims to nurture responsible and self-reliant young leaders for the future.

He further noted that empowering young people economically and socially will not only improve livelihoods but also promote discipline, innovation, and leadership within the community.

The Youth Connect Campaign is expected to roll out several activities in the coming weeks, including mentorship sessions, business networking opportunities, and community engagement programs as the Easter celebrations approach.
