The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Executives in Manso Adubia have demonstrated solidarity with the local Muslim community by presenting food items and cash to support their observance of the holy month of Ramadan.

The donation, which took place earlier this morning at the central mosque in Manso Adubia, was led by the Constituency Chairman, Mr. Frank Antwi-Agyei, and was received by the Chief Imam, Imam Yusif Abdulai, alongside other Muslim leaders from surrounding communities. Several constituency executives were also present to witness the occasion.

Items presented included bags of sugar, packets of milk, Lipton tea, and an undisclosed amount of money, intended to aid in the preparation of Iftar meals and other religious activities throughout the fasting period. The contribution was made to complement earlier support provided by the District Chief Executive for Amansie South, Hon. Benjamin Marfo, through the District Assembly.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Frank Antwi-Agyei emphasized that the gesture was a demonstration of unity, compassion, and shared responsibility. He highlighted the significance of Ramadan as a period of prayer, sacrifice, self-discipline, and care for others, stating that the NDC leadership in Manso Adubia was committed to standing with their Muslim brothers and sisters during this sacred season.
“The holy month of Ramadan is a time for reflection, generosity, and community. We believe it is our duty to support our brothers and sisters as they observe this important period of fasting and prayer,” Mr. Antwi-Agyei remarked.
Chief Imam Yusif Abdulai expressed gratitude to the NDC leadership for the timely and thoughtful gesture. He praised the contribution as a source of encouragement and practical support for the Muslim community during Ramadan and prayed for continued peace, development, and prosperity in the Manso Adubia Constituency.

Ramadan, one of the most revered periods in the Islamic calendar, is observed by Muslims worldwide through fasting, prayer, and acts of charity. The NDC Constituency Executives’ donation reflects a commitment to social solidarity and the promotion of harmony within the community.
The Manso Adubia Constituency leadership expressed hope that their contribution would be of assistance throughout the fasting period and extended best wishes for a peaceful, blessed, and successful Ramadan to the entire Muslim community.
