On Wednesday, 25th February 2026, officials from Visa Facilitation Services (VFS), led by the Regional Head for Central and West Africa, Mr. Prashant Kansara, paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Honourable James Gyakye Quayson (MP).

The meeting provided a platform to discuss ways to deepen institutional collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Visa Facilitation Services to ensure efficient, transparent, and high-quality services for Ghanaian citizens. Honourable Quayson reiterated that the Ministry is committed to working closely with all stakeholders to enhance public service delivery.

During the meeting, Mr. Kansara briefed the Deputy Minister on the establishment, mandate, and operations of Visa Facilitation Services in Ghana. He highlighted the organisation’s commitment to continuous improvement and expressed readiness to consider feedback from both the Ministry and the public to further enhance customer satisfaction.
Honourable Quayson emphasized that collaboration with service providers such as VFS is vital in promoting transparency, accountability, and professionalism in delivering services that directly impact citizens’ lives. He encouraged VFS to maintain high standards and welcomed initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and accessibility for Ghanaians.

The discussions concluded with a mutual agreement on the importance of quality service delivery, citizen satisfaction, and continued engagement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Visa Facilitation Services.

Also present at the meeting were Directors of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Director of Legal and Education at Visa Facilitation Services, Gbese Mantse Nii Armah Addy, and the Deputy General Manager of Operations Ghana, Madam Cleopatra Avenorgbo.
