The Atwima Mponua District Assembly, under the leadership of the District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Issahak Ibrahim, has commissioned a series of impactful projects aimed at enhancing education, healthcare, and vocational skills within the district.

The commissioning ceremony, which took place recently, saw the handover of a six-unit classroom block at Kotokuom R/C KG, a newly constructed nurse bungalow at Anwiafutu, and essential equipment for mastercraft persons and apprentices. The event brought together the Coordinating Director, assembly staff, assembly members, party officials, and community leaders, all of whom expressed enthusiasm for the projects’ potential to transform local education and healthcare delivery.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Issahak Ibrahim urged beneficiaries to take responsibility for the maintenance and proper utilization of the projects and equipment. He emphasized that caring for public resources is essential to sustaining development initiatives and ensuring long-term benefits for the community.

“These projects are not just structures or equipment; they are investments in our future. I call on all beneficiaries to protect them and make full use of these resources to improve learning, healthcare, and vocational training in the district,” the DCE stated.

Community leaders and beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the initiatives, acknowledging the role of the government and the District Assembly in addressing critical local needs. They highlighted that the projects would improve early childhood education, strengthen healthcare infrastructure, and provide practical support to apprentices and skilled workers, thereby fostering socio-economic development in the district.

The Atwima Mponua District Assembly’s latest commissioning reflects a continued commitment to enhancing the well-being of its residents, ensuring that education, healthcare, and skills development remain central to the district’s development agenda.
