Hon. Frank Yeboah, Member of Parliament for Atwima Nwabiagya North, participated in the National Thanksgiving Service organised by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to celebrate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s victory as the party’s flagbearer during the NPP Flagbearer Primaries held on 31st January 2026.

The inter-denominational service, held on 15th February 2026 at the main auditorium of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), brought together national executives, Members of Parliament, regional and constituency leaders, and grassroots supporters from across the country. The occasion featured prayers, worship, and thanksgiving, acknowledging God’s guidance and blessings throughout the internal flagbearer election process.

Hon. Yeboah described the service as a significant spiritual milestone for the party, emphasising that giving thanks to God reflects humility and recognition of divine guidance in leadership. He urged party members, particularly at the grassroots, to rally behind Dr. Bawumia and actively contribute to strengthening party structures in preparation for the general elections.

The service was also attended by five regional chairmen, including Professor Kalamonia (Savannah Region), Chairman Nurudeen (North East Region), Chairman Kwame Baffoe Abronye (Bono Region), Ashanti Regional Chairman Bernard Antwi Boasiako (popularly known as Chairman Wontumi), and Chairman Sekyere (Ahafo Region), alongside Deputy General Secretary Alhaji Haruna Mohammed.

The National Thanksgiving Service concluded with prayers for peace, stability, and prosperity in Ghana. Hon. Frank Yeboah’s participation reaffirmed his commitment to faith-based leadership, party unity, and the collective vision of positioning Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for success in the forthcoming elections.
