The Suame Tetelestai Assembly of the The Church of Pentecost has honoured Elder Dr. Nana K. Gyasi for fifteen years of dedicated and exemplary service as an Area Executive Member, in recognition of his immense contribution to the spiritual growth and administrative development of the Suame Area.

The well-attended ceremony, held under the theme “Mo Ne Yɔ” (You Have Done Well), brought together ministers of the Gospel, traditional authorities, security officials, and leaders from various institutions to celebrate a servant-leader whose commitment to the work of God has remained consistent and impactful over the years. The event took place at the Tetelestai Church of Pentecost Auditorium in Suame and was also witnessed by Elder Gyasi’s business partners and workers, who joined members of the congregation to honour his remarkable milestone.

A major highlight of the programme was the reading of the detailed profile and testimony of Elder Dr. Nana K. Gyasi before the congregation. The citation chronicled his spiritual journey, leadership record, years of faithful service, and his significant contributions to both church development and community advancement. The moving testimony drew admiration and applause from the audience, reflecting the deep respect he commands within the church and beyond.

In his acceptance remarks, Elder Dr. Nana K. Gyasi expressed profound gratitude to God and the leadership of the church for the honour bestowed upon him. He described the recognition as humbling and reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to advancing the mission of the church. According to him, the fifteen-year journey has been characterised by faith, sacrifice, teamwork, and divine guidance.

The occasion was graced by several distinguished personalities, including Chief of Agric Nzema, Nana Nkansa Boadu Ayeboafo Odiamono; Baffour Kantankrakyi, Otumfuo’s Chief Linguist; and Professor Opoku Onyina, former Chairman of the Church of Pentecost. Also present were ministers of God, both retired and actively serving, as well as national and regional executives of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU). Among them were the National Chairman, Nana Nimako Bresiamah; the Ashanti Regional Chairman, Alhaji Sumaila Boakye; and the Ashanti Regional Police Commander, DCOP Arthur Osei Akoto.

Delivering a goodwill message, Nana Nkansa Boadu commended Elder Dr. Nana K. Gyasi for his humility, diligence, and selfless dedication to the work of God. He charged the congregation to remain steadfast in their Christian faith and to allow Jesus Christ to guide their lives, emphasising that material success or business achievements without Christ are ultimately meaningless.

As part of the ceremony, citations and special gifts were presented to Elder Dr. Nana K. Gyasi and his wife by the Tetelestai Women’s Fellowship, the Men’s Fellowship, and representatives from various church districts, including Offinso and Amanfrom. The presentations symbolised deep appreciation for their years of faithful service, commitment, and sacrifice toward the advancement of the church.

The celebration concluded with prayers and words of encouragement, marking a significant milestone in the life of a devoted church leader whose influence continues to inspire the Suame Area Church and the wider community.
